Repeat Prescriptions
If you are on repeat medication for a long standing condition, there are a range of options available to you to make collecting your medicines as easy as possible.
The Doctors have now instructed reception staff not to take requests for same day prescriptions, we are asking patients to make sure they have enough, to allow for processing of their repeat prescriptions.
Ordering Prescriptions
Prescriptions ordered to collect from the surgery will be ready after 3pm the following, if you have your prescriptions sent to a chemist it will be 3 working days until ready for collection.
Repeat prescriptions can be ordered in the following ways:
- In person/by post - each prescription issued has a white side to it which lists the medication you have on prescription. Simply tick the items you require, and place it in one of our order boxes or post it to us. There are boxes in our reception area.
- Online – Complete a simple registration form & bring two forms ID, one photographic into surgery.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
