CHANGES TO VACCINATIONS/TRAVEL VACCINATIONS

IF YOUR JOB PLACES YOU AT RISK OF HEPATITIS B INFECTION, IT IS YOUR EMPLOYER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO ARRANGE THE VACCINATION FOR YOU, RATHER THAN YOUR GP. CONTACT YOUR OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT. PLEASE NOTE STUART ROAD CHARGE A FEE OF £25 FOR THIS VACCINATION.

CARE QUALITY COMMISSION INSPECTION

Stuart Road Surgery was inspected by a CQC Team on Tuesday 10th May 2016 we have recently received our feedback and official report.

The good news is that we were awarded a rating of GOOD which is a wonderful achievement for all our hard working and caring staff.

Doctors

Dr J Mark Taylor (m)

Dr Taylor qualified from Sheffield University in 1984, and became a registered general practitioner the year after. Married and father to three children, his main interests include Diabetes and Hypertension.

Dr Velayudham Syam (m)

Dr Syam qualified in 1980, and joined the practice in 1992. He is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners. Married with two children, his main interests include Asthma and Minor Surgery, as well as teaching medical students.

Dr Rajamma Sreelatha (f)

Dr Sreelatha qualified in 1990 and joined the practice in 2006, becoming a partner the year after. Married with two children, her main interests are Mental Health and Family Planning.

Dr Aniqa Qazi (f)

I finished my training in 2013. I joined Stuart Road Surgery in 2016.

My main interests are MSK, Joint Injections, Dermatology and Cardiology 

I am married with two children
